Please read this page carefully when booking a function or hiring a venue at the Fremantle Park Sport & Community Centre.

TERMS

Everything you need to know before hiring a venue at the club.

Fremantle Park Club

 Terms & Conditions

To hire the venue you must be a member of the Fremantle Park Sport & Community Centre; you can join by filling out the attached form and selecting a social membership which is charged at $20 for a 12 month membership.

Hiring the Venue

To confirm your booking, a signed copy of the venue hire request form, terms and conditions, and proof of payment for the 50% deposit is required. Please note confirmation is not assumed until this form and payment has been guaranteed. Cash, credit card, electronic funds transfer and cheque payments are accepted.

Booking Confirmation

Final numbers must be confirmed 7 days prior to the function date and the final fee will be calculated based on the provided number.

Final Numbers

Full payment is required 7 days prior to the function. Fremantle Park Sport & Community Centre requires all function hosts to provide a credit card as security.

Payment

Cancellation of any event requires a minimum of four (4) weeks notice in order to be refunded the full deposit. Any cancellation less that four (4) weeks prior to the event will forfeit the full deposit. Cancellation less that two (2) weeks prior to the event will forfeit 50% of the functions total cost in addition to the full deposit.

Cancellations

Any function booked on a public holiday will be subject to a 20% surcharge which will apply to both the venue and provision of catering and beverages.

Public Holidays

Members discount applies to a full member/s when hosting the function and paying the total amount of the bill. In any other case member functions will be charged at full / regular function pricing.

Members Discount

With a bar tab of $10,000 the room hire will be offered free of charge in cases where discussed and approved by management prior to the event.

Discount

External entertainment including equipment must be approved prior to the event. Regulations are in place with regards to noise levels, music and entertainment and we reserve the right to lower noise levels if it results in disturbing other patrons or residents. Our staff reserve the right to end any function and remove any / all guests from the premises if guests do not display appropriate behavior.

Entertainment, Noise & Behaviour

A $1000.00 bond payment is required in case of damage and will be refunded within 10 days of the event date if none should occur. We recommend organisers arrange their own insurance. For major events including 18th and 21st birthdays security is required; please let us know and we will organise this for you.

Fremantle Park Sport & Community Centre and their staff does not accept responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen property before, during or after the function. The function host is financially responsible and will be charged for missing items and damage caused by guests or outside contractors. This includes repairs, labour or replacement as deemed necessary by management to facilities, furnishings, fittings, property or equipment.

All concerns to be raised with management prior to event, or with Duty Manager during. Staff are not responsible for set up or pack down of external décor or equipment including lifting or carrying, prior arrangements must be made.

Insurance & Damage

Under WA's Liquor Licensing Laws we have a duty of care to all customers. Management reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol to guests at any time in accordance with responsible service of alcohol requirements and licensing. In the case of any damages or cleaning requirements hosting guests will be responsible. 

We reserve the right to: 

Remove offending guest/s from premises and/or close the bar entirely. Be shown proof of age if and when requested (the function host is responsible for advising staff if minors are to attend the function). 

Alcohol gifted to guests during a function is to remain sealed on the premises.

Duty of Care

If an event needs to be rescheduled following government mandated COVID-19 restrictions, any deposit or fees paid will transfer in full to a new event date negotiated between you and the Centre. If restrictions require cancellation up to 5 days prior the Centre will provide a full refund of any fees received.
