Welcome to the Workers'

Club at Fremantle Park Club

The Fremantle Workers' Club, which was founded in 1914 within the Lodge's Castle Hotel, remains as a tribute to the ongoing spirit of companionship and community. After a period of reform and regeneration under Don Whittington's leadership in 2011, the club not only defied expectations but also emerged stronger.

The sale of the original land allowed for the construction of a magnificent new clubhouse within the scenic Fremantle Park. This modern leisure and social interaction hub would go on to form the cornerstone of the Fremantle Park Sport and Recreation Centre, a collaborative vision that would culminate in 2020, linking the Tennis and Bowling Clubs with the Workers Club.

Join us every Sunday from 1:30 PM to 5 PM at the Fremantle Park Centre as we celebrate the vibrant legacy of our club and community, a tradition that spans generations.

Our hallowed institutions have not only stood the test of time here in Fremantle community, but have also woven themselves into the fabric of our collective heritage. From humble beginnings to the present day, discover how these clubs have left an indelible mark on our social, recreational, and cultural landscape..
